Mary E. Tippitt Memorial Library
National Park Ranger Mike Meldrum will give a presentation on "Bears in the Park" at the after-school program on Wednesday from 3:15pm to 4:15pm.
Please call the library at 865-448-1441 to pre-register your children no later than Tuesday. Children in grades Pre-K through 5th are welcome and this is a free program.

Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church
The Tuckaleechee United Methodist Chuch will hold their annual Apple Festival on Thursday, October 23.
There will be a craft and rummage sale from 10:00am to 5:00pm and a steak dinner will be served from 11:00am to 2:00pm and again from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The cost of the dinner is $10 for adults, $5 for children and $8 for a vegetable plate. The cost includes a drink and dessert with proceeds going to fund mission projects.
Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church is located at 7322 Old Tuckaleechee Road.

Passion Play in the Smokies
Passion Play in the Smokies portrays the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This event takes place at 7:30pm at the Townsend Ampitheater on Bethel Road.
Tickets are $12.00 for adults, $5.00 for children 12 and under and $10.00 per adult for groups of 10 or more.

Every Saturday night at 7:00pm join the Clemmer's at the Pickin' Porch for some good ol' mountain music!
This week's guests are Kelly and Susan Amsden, teachers and players of mountain and hammered dulcimers.

The library will host a Family Fun Night on Saturday October 25 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Come join us for games, crafts, a cakewalk and storytime! Admission is free and games are 50 cents each with proceeds going to operational expenses for the library.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
