The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, through a new initiative called Trails Forever, is currently seeking energetic volunteers to work with park trail crews improving two popular trails in the park.
The first project is a rehabilitation of the Ramsey Cascades trail in the Greenbrier area of the park. The second project is a rehabilitation of a section of the Forney Ridge trail below Clingmans Dome.
For more information or to volunteer on the Trails Forever crew, contact the Park’s 75th Anniversary Volunteer Coordinator, Jeremy Sweat, or phone (865) 436-1711.
